THE GOAL

Design a streamlined homepage that captured both a minimal aesthetic and could guide the user through the main story of the company with carefully chosen copy and interactivity to showcase brand's design ethos. How can we show the difference?
THE PROCESS
Initial research included a competitive audit of other design agencies as well as gathering analytics of company's  clients to gain an understanding of potential users. UNNESSARY INFORMATION

Users felt frustrated and overwhelmed when presented with too much information all at once.

TIME SPENT SEARCHING

Users did not want to waste time having to look through multiple pages to view examples of work by agency.
Research revealed that users felt either overwhelmed by too much information or unsure of the options available to them on an agency's site.
STARTING THE DESIGN
Predictabull® had a strong foundation for the direction they wanted to go in and the design aesthetic they wanted to capture. Once we determined the mood and design system we'd be working in, we began developing the journey the user would take through the homepage.
EXAMPLE OF ORIGINAL HOMEPAGE
The original site showcased the work but didn't capture the values and details about the company. A minimal dark-themed site was explored as a contrast to the existing site.
DEVELOPING the NEW site
The site needed to not only be visually eye-catching and in line with the brand but also capture the story through specific phrases and language that unfolded as the users moved down the page. A process of brainstorming and ideation for each phrase was done to carefully craft the user's journey through brand storytelling.
REFINING THE DESIGN

Incorporating animations throughout helped the user feel more connected through an interactive experience. The design was meant to highlight the language used throughout and slowly reveal information to avoid overwhelming the user.
FINAL DESIGN

Defining the homepage was key to the next steps which include building out more detailed "services" and "about" pages and case study templates for the agency.
FINAL THOUGHTS

IMPACT

SEO Optimization and design overhaul helped drive increased traffic and client reach by over 30%.

WHAT I LEARNED

Developing copy and the language used for a site is just as important as the visual components. Every part needs to support the other for a seamless and enjoyable experience.
